Our Mission, our Calling...

‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’

Jesus replied: ‘“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.   All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”  (Matthew 22:36-40 NIV)

1998-2022

We met at a local high school from 1998-2006.
It took 4 years to acquire 25 acres of land in the heart of Pace, FL, and 2 years to build the building that we finally called home..
A major hurricane struck here the week that the steel beams went up; it tore everything down and we had to start all over again.  It was a major setback in the building program but one that we overcame through the grace of God and the faithfulness of our congregation.
We moved into our new church building on 25 beautiful acres of land in October 1998.  We still remember the first time we drove onto our new church campus and felt such pride, such joy, such GRATITUDE at having our own place.

This was not a place of religious rules, roles, and regulations.  We were a family, a family of believers, of seekers, of those both in-the-faith and those not yet in-the-faith.  We did life together, through the good times and the bad, and above all, we loved one another, as Christ had commanded.  We preached and taught the gospel and exalted Him high, as the only One who can break the bondages of sin and set us on a path to freedom, real joy, and ultimately to an eternal home in Heaven with Him.

There was never any condemnation here - only a place of rest, of peace, of healing and restoration... a place of newfound life in Christ... a place that many called home through the years.

We gave birth to this church and now a new leadership team will lead forward... a team with the same heart that we had for the Pace community, a team with great skill and expertise to lead forward, to "extend the road" as it has been said.  We leave our legacy in good hands, and we bid Godspeed to all who made the journey with us, and we know that the best is yet to come....

Servant-led

Volunteer-driven

Here, ministry was not done by only a few.  We were a staff-led church but volunteer-driven.  Those who served were also the ones who lead.  Every ministry team was stacked with people who shared the same passion, the same love, the same enthusiasm for the area of ministry in which they served ... and leaders naturally emerged on those teams.

Those who served best also lead best.

We are forever grateful for all who helped us along on this incredible journey, and who made this journey with us.
